An ant travels a distance of 8 cm form P to Q and then moves a distance of 6 cm at a right angle to PQ. Find its resultant displacement.

PR=6cm
so displacement is the shortest distance therefore use Pythagoras theorem
H²=B²+P²
H²=8²+6²
H²=100
H=10
displacement=10cm
