By using Pythagoras theorem in triangle PQM angle Q is 90°.
then ( PQ)square + (QM) square=(PM)square
8*2 + 6*2=PM*2
64+36=PM*2
√100=PM
PM=10 cm
Resultany displacemet is 10cm
