an ant travels a distance of 8 cm from p to q and then moves a distance of 6 cm at right angles to pq .what will be the resultant displacement



pls send me that formula and it's answer. ​

Then the resultant displacement of the ant from p is the hypotenuse of the right angled triangle that is created by this movement. Therefore, as per the mathematical formula, hypotenuse2 = 82 + 62 = 100. Hence, the displacement of the ant = √100 = 10 cm, which is the longest side of a triangle.
