Question:-

An ant walks 20 cm in one minute. What is the total distance covered by the ant in 30 minutes?

Answer:-

Given:

▪︎Distance cover by ant in 1 minute = 20cm

Hence , speed = 20cm per min

To Find:

▪︎Distance cover by ant in 30 minutes

Solution:

Distance cover by ant in 30 minutes

= Speed × Time

= 20 × 30

= 600cm

1m = 100cm

So, 600 cm = 6m.

Hence, the Distance cover by ant in 30 minutes is 6m

Formula to be remembered:-

▪︎Distance = Speed × Time

▪︎Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

▪︎Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}
