An apple of mass 500gm is placed on the surface of the earth. Find force of attraction between earth and apple .

taking, mass of earth = M

mass of apple = .5 kg

distance = Radius of earth (R)

applying gravitational formula,

Fg = (G*M*0.5) / R^2

Fg = g * 0.5

Fg = 9.81 *0.5 ( taking g= 9.81)

Fg = 4.905 N
