An aquarium 75cm long ,50cm wide and 40 cm high is half filled with water.Ten identical metal cubes of edge 15cm are completely immersed in the water.Calculate the new height of water in the aquarium.

first of all calculate the volume of half tank

then find the volume of all cube the add it to the volume it will give the new tatal volume

when we equate the new total value the length and base remain same

only the height changes

so take height as X then equate it to the volume
