58.8g of solute present in 100. ml of solution

wt of solution = volume density

=100x1.388

=138.8gm

Wt. of solvent =138.8-58.8 =80 gm

moles of solute =58.8/98 = 0.6

molality =0.6/80 *1000

= 7.5 m.
