molecular formula of aqueous solution=H₂O+C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁

=18+144+22+176 g

=360 g

now,acc to ques 30℅of 360 g is the mass of C

so,mass of water=70℅of 360g=266 g

Answer:

Sugar ::C12 H22 O11

C12 H22 O11+H2O----->4C2 H5 OH+4 CO2

Molecular weight of sugar=342gm

Mass of solution =30%×342

=102.6gm

No.of moles =500/102.6=4.8

Mass of water=n×mass

=4.8×18=86.4gms.
