Answer : (4) The Molarity of solution is 20 M.

Solution : Given,

Density of solution = 1.25 g/ml

Molecular weight of solute = 62.5 g/mole

Formula used :

Molarity=\frac{\text{ weigth of solute}}{\text{ Molecular weight of solute}\times \text{ Volume of solution}}

As we know that  Density=\frac{Mass}{Volume}

By rearranging the above formula, we get

Molarity=\frac{\text{ Density of solution}}{\text{ Molecular weight of solute}}

Molarity=\frac{1.25g/ml}{62.5g/mole}=0.02mole/ml=0.02mole/ml=20mole/L=20M   (1 L = 1000 ml)

Therefore, the Molarity of solution is 20M.
