An aqueous solution of a metal nitrate 'A' reacts with sodium bromide solution to form yellow precipitate of compound 'B' which is used in photography . 'B' on exposure to sunlight undergo decomposition reaction to form a metal which is present in 'A' and a reddish brown gas.
