An aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol is found to be 10/9 molal. If the density of the alcohol solution is 0.8 g/cc, find mole fraction and molarity of solution with respect to ethyl alcohol.​

10/9=1.111 molal

this means you have 1.11mole of ethanol by kg of water.

Molar mass of water is 18g . so 1kg of water contains 1000/18=55.56moles of water

mole fraction of ethanol is given by

number of moles of ethanol/(moles of ethanol+moles of water) =0.0196
