Answer:
An Arabic Oud is basically a pear-shaped, short-neck, and lute-type of musical instrument. It has around 11-13 strings, that too grouped in the courses of around 5-6 strings.
Harp, on the other hand, is a perpendicular musical instruments with strings placed in a single line. They are used to play soft music. It is an ancient musical instrument, introduced during the 3500 BC.
Since the Oud has more grouped courses of strings, it is capable of producing higher pitch as compared to the Harp.
