Question

An archer stretches the string of a bow causing to bend . When the bow straighten,the string also comes back to the original place pushes the arrow out from the bow . Identify where force is being used to change the shape of an object . also identify the object on while work is being done . Give reasons for your answer?

In this case tension force is being applied when the bow is pulled and when it is released, spring force is being applied. when you pull the bow with it string a lot of tension is produced , potential energy is being stored and when you release the bow potential energy is converted into kietic energy and the tension stored is released which is followed by the spring force
