Explanation:

No Militaries exist for two purposes in the world: fighting other countries, and suppressing revolts at home. Generals are taught to fight. They don't know anything about running a health care system, maintaining a clean water supply, creating an IT infrastructure, and all the other mundane things that a government is supposed to do. The only people they trust are other military officers, who fill up the different departments. As a result, there is a huge amount of incompetence in military regimes. What would a guy who is trained to command a tank corps know about running a childhood education system?

The answer to this question boils down to where you come from, your political views, and your social opinions.

Through the neoliberal lens of westerners from the United States or other so-called democratic country, a democracy seems better. The premise here is that everybody receives equal treatment, and everyone is entitled to what founding father Thomas Jefferson deems “inalienable rights.” Furthermore, the people from democratic countries actually have a say in the legislation that is passed in government because they are able to vote for their representatives, who should support their views

Military rule is not better than democratic rule. It’s just different. Military rule works better than democracy during emergencies and life or death situations. A soldier can’t afford to sit around taking a vote when the enemy is shooting. Likewise democracy works best during peace because a civil society is more fair when not ruled by tyrants. Military rule is a tool of civil society not the other way around. You can see this in many countries around the world. Just think about which countries are more stable and the citizens are more free. Is it the ones ruled by a democratic government that have a subordinate miliartary.
