An army camp had provision for food for 600 soldiers for 30 days. However, the number of
soldiers who attended the camp was less than 600, so the food was sufficient for 48 days. Find

Answer:

LET THE NO. OF SOLDIER WHO ATTENDED CAMP BE X

Now, if we have 600 soldiers so we have the food for 30days

And if we have x no. of person so we have the food for 48 days.

THEREFORE, more no. of people more food required

so, this is an direct variation

therefore,

600×30 = x × 48

600×30/48 =x

x = 350

therefore, the no. of soldiers attempted the camp =350
