This is a problem on inverse proportion.

For 600 men,. Food lost for 25 days

Then , for 300 men, food lost for

Here as no. Of men decreases, food available will be for more days

600. 25

300. ?

(25×600)/300=50 days.

Hence the food lost for 50 days, if there are 300men in the army camp.
