Answers
Answer:
Commander A. Rana and his regiment where overwhelmed at the prospect of going home. Having spent three strenuous months at the border where the temperature was far below freezing , they were jubilant at the thought of returning to their warm homes.
They had boarded the late night train that would take them home. It was not an army train but an Express train for civilians. Tired out they settled for a good nights sleep in their corresponding berths dreaming of home sweet home.
Suddenly they heard a strange noise coming from the next compartment. Being a responsible officer, Commander Rana immediately leaped off his bunk and rushed to the next compartment through the vestibule.
To his horror he found a gang of robbers holding the passengers at gun point and snatching their things.
Rana plunged at the robbers single handedly. By then his men had woken up with the noise and when they saw their commander in danger one of them pulled the chain .
As soon as the train stopped the army men jumped down and climbed into the compartment from all sides. They blocked the vestibules so that the robbers could not flee.
The robbers were taken aback to find so many army men plunging on them. The passengers mustered courage on seeing them and soon the gunmen were overpowered and pinned down.
All the goods were returned and the robbers were handed over to the railway police.
Everyone clapped for Commander Rana and his team. Once an army man always an army man.
