An army pilot is flying an aeroplane at an altitude of 1800m observes some suspicious activity of 2 ships which are sailing towards it in the same directions and immediately report it to the navy chief.the angles of depression of the ships are observed from the aeroplane are 60 degree and 30 degree respectively. Find the distance between two ships.

tan30°=DC/AC

BC=1800/√3m

therefore distance between ships is

AC-BC =AB

1800√3-1800/√3=AB

AB=4360m
