Let the List Price is Rs100

Sale tax =10%

Selling price with Sale tax = 100*110/100= Rs110

When SP is Rs110, List Price is Rs 100

When SP is Rs1430, List Price is 1430*100/110=

Rs1300

Therefore ,List Price of the Article = Rs 1300.

If sale tax = 12%

then sp = (1300*112)/100 = Rs 1356

Hope it will help
