an article is brought for rs.300.find its s.p. if it is sold at 10% profit

sp= CP + profit %
SP=300+(300*  \frac{10}{100}
SP=300+30
SP=330

The C.P.=Rs.300
Profit percentage=10 %.
⇒Profit=10% of C.P.
⇒Rs.10/100 of 300 
⇒Rs.30
In case of profit , S.P.=C.P.+Profit
⇒S.P.=Rs.300+Rs.30
⇒S.P.=Rs.330
