An artificial satellite is moving in a circular orbit of radius 42250 km. calculate its speed if it takes 24 hours to revolve around the earth.

first find its circumference by taking 42250 as radius then,
pie x radius=22/7 x 42250 x 2=265464.579cm
then,divide result by 24 we get
265464.579/24=11061.024km/h

{\implies v = \dfrac{2\times\dfarc{22/}{7}\times 42250}{24}km h^-1}

= 11065 km h^-1

{\implies\dfrac{11065km}{1hour}}

{\implies\dfrac{11065km}{60\times 60\:sec}}

= 3.07 km sec^-1
