The artificial satellite takes 24 hrs to travel 42250 km
Speed= distance/time= 42250/24= 1760.41 km/h.

Here's your answer...

The linear velocity of a body in rotational motion is given by the relation
v = wr
where w is the angular velocity and r is the radius.

For t = 24 hours...

w =  \frac{2\pi}{t}  \\ w =  \frac{2\pi}{24}  =  \frac{\pi}{12}
v = wr \\  =  \frac{\pi}{12}  \times 42250
≈ 11061.02 km/hr
