Hey Pretty Stranger!

Given radius = 42250 km

Time taken = 24 hours

Distance Travelled = Circumference of Orbit

→ Distance = 2 × π × r

→ Distance = 2 × \sf\dfrac{22}{7} × 42250

→ Distance = \sf\cancel\dfrac{1859000}{7}

Distance = 265464.58 km

Now,

Speed = Distance Covered/Time taken

→ 265464.58/24 × 60 × 60

→ 2654.58/ 86400

→ 3.07 km/s

\therefore Speed of the satellite is 3.07 km/s.

Explanation:

distance covered by the satellite is 2πr

there fore

2×3.14×42250 is the distance covered.

=265464.58km.

speed=distance covered/time taken

=265464.58/24×60×60

=3.07km/s
