Let us assume an artificial satellite, which is moving in a circular orbit of radius 42250 km covers a distance ‘s’ as it revolve around earth with speed ‘v’ in given time ‘t’ of 24 hours.= 42250Radius of circular orbit r
Time taken by artificial satellite t=24 hours
Distance covered by satellite s =Circumference of circular orbit
 Speed of satellite v
= 3.073 km/s

Hey there!

Given,

Radius (r) = 42250 km

Time (t) = 24 hours

Distance will equal to perimeter of the orbit

= 2πr

= 2π * 42250

Speed of artificial satelite

= 2π * 42250/24

= 11059 km/h

Hope It Helps You!
