An artificial satellite moves around the earth with a velocity of constant magnitude still its motion is said to be an accelerated motion, why?

velocity is a vector quantity and vector quantity depends on two things magnitude and direction

as the direction of an circular motion changes continuously

it's velocity also changes and as velocity is directly proportional to acceleration, acceleration also changes
