Given that -

The radius of the orbit = 51385 km

To find out -

Speed if it takes 24 hours to revolve around the earth

Solution -

Circumference of the orbit = 2πr² = 2×3.14×51385 = 322,697.8 km

Time taken for the orbit = 24 hours

Therefore, speed of the satellite = 13445.741 km.h-1 (approx.)

The satellite orbits the Earth at a speed of 11065.4 kilometers per hour.
