An artificial satellito is moving in a circular orbit of radius 42250 km.calculate its speed if it taken 24 hours to revolve around the earth.

t = 24 hr

V = (2 × pi × r) / t

=. (2×22 × 42250) / 24 × 7

= 11065.47 km/h

Given,

Radius (r) = 42250 km

Time (t) = 24 hours

Distance will equal to perimeter of the orbit

= 2πr

= 2π * 42250

Speed of artificial satelite  

= 2π * 42250/24

= 11059 km/h
