Answer:

Howdy!! In space astronaut feel weightless because earth's gravity has less effort on us . #Space is a vacuums so, there is no gravity to attract any thing . Although , due to less effort of earth and due to negligible gravity in space astronaut feel weigh less .

Answer:

No it does not mean that it happens because the earth does not attract them  but it happens because of the difference in gravity of earth and space. In space due to low gravity we starts floating in space and we think that we are weightless but actually are weight decreases but just a little and in reality it happens because of gravity .

Hope it helps
