An astronaut with all her equipments has a mass of 95 kilograms. How much will she weight on the moon, where the acceleration due to gravity is 1.67 meter per second square?

W = 159 N.

Given :-

m = 95 kg

a = 1.67m/s²

Weight :- It is the force applied on a body by virtue of its mass and gravity.

From definition we have,

Now, put the given value,

 w = 95 \times 1.67

 w = 158.65 N

hence,the weight of object will be 158.65 ~ 159 N.
