An athelete runs 6 times a rectangular track. He covers a distance of 2.4 km. The length of the track is 125m. Find its width

Let breadth of the track is x m
Then perimiter will be (125+x) m
According to question,

6*(125+x) = 2.4*1000
6x = 2400 - 750
x = 1650/6 = 275

Hence breadth will be 275 m
