Area of shaded region = area of total region - area of inner region
Area of total region = area of total semicircular region + area of total rectangular region
= [ 2 * pie * ( 35+14)2 / 2 ] + [ 120 * 2 *(35 +14) ]
= 19306
area of inner region = area of inner semicircular region + area of inner rectangle
= [ 2* pie * 352 / 2 ] + (35 *120 )
= 12250m2
area of shaded region = 7056m2
