an athlete completes 1 round of a circular track of diameter 400m in 80 secs. what will be the distance covered and displacement at the end of 4 min 40 secs?

The distance will be 2π×(400÷2)m & the displacement is 400m

the displacement will be 0and distance would be 280/80=3.5
400x3.5=1400m

mythri43: so displacement is diameter
mythri43: because after 3 full rounds he will be at starting point and the other half round he will be at the exact opposite of circular track so it is diameter
