An athlete completes a round of one round of a circular track of diameter 200m in 20 seconds. Find:
i) Distance travelled by him
ii)magnitude of displacement at the end of 1 min 10 seconds

r = d/2 = 200/2 = 100m

distance = 2 \: \pi \: r

= 2× 22/7 ×100

= 4400/7

= 628.5m distance travelled

v = d/ t

= 4400/7×20

= 31.42m/s

2) displacement = v × t

= 31.42 × 70s

= 2199.4m
