an athlete completes one round of a circular track of diameter 49m in 20 seconds. calculate the distance covered and displacement at end of 30 second​

Answer:

Given , diameter of circular path = 49m

so, radius r = 49/2 m

now , distance covered by athlete

= 2πr = 2 × 22/7 × 49/2

= 154 m

so, athlete covered 154 m in 20 sec

now, at 30 second

the athlete covered πr of circle

so, displacement = diameter of circular pat

therefore , displacement = 49m

hence, distance = 154 m &

displacement = 49 m
