Howdy !!

your answer is ---

Given , diameter of circular path = 49m
so, radius r = 49/2 m

now , distance covered by athlete
= 2πr = 2 × 22/7 × 49/2
= 154 m
so, athlete covered 154 m in 20 sec

now, at 30 second
the athlete covered πr of circle

so, displacement = diameter of circular pat

therefore , displacement = 49m

hence, distance = 154 m &

displacement = 49 m

hope it help you

Circumference of track = 22/7 x 49 = 154
So he runs 154 m in 20 sec
Therefore 1 sec = 154/20 = 7.7 m
Therefore  30 sec = 7.7 x 30 = 231 m
So Distance covered = 231 meters
Therefore displacement = 231 - 154 = 77 meters

hope it help youu.....
