an athlete completes one round of a circular track of diameter 40 metre in 12 seconds what will the distance covered and displacement at the end of 42 seconds​

completed rounds :- 42s / 12s = 3.5

radius of the circular track :- diameter / 2 = 40m /2 = 20m

perimeter of the circular track :- 2πr = 2 × 22/7 × 20m

                                                            = 125.71428m

                                                            ≈ 125.71m

distance covered at the end of 42 seconds :-

                       = 125.71m × 3.5

                       = 439.985m

                       = 440m

displacement at the end of 42 seconds​ :-

                     *displacement is equal to diameter because he have reached the half of the circular track

                     ⇒ 40m
