radius of track = 140m/2 = 70m

perimeter of track = 2πr = 2× 22/7 ×70 m

= 440 m

Distance covered in 60 sec = 440 m

Distance covered in I sec = 440m/60

Distance covered in 120 sec = 120 × 440m/60

= 880m.

Therefore distance covered in 120 seconds is 880 m.

Displacement = total distance - perimeter of track

= 880m - 440m

= 440m
