   Distance =28216 m

   Displacement=200 m

2 min 20 s=140s

d=200m   , r=d/2=100m

Distance covered in 40s = 2πr=2*3.14*100=628m

∴ In 140 s , 140/40 == Quotient=4(rounds) remainder=20s

In 20 s , the athlete completes 2πr/2 rounds=πr=314 m

∴ Total distance= 4*628+314=2826 m

After  4 rounds

Displacement = 0

but in remaining 20 s , the athlete completes a semi-circle

∴ Displacement = 200 m
