An athlete is running around a circular track of radius 200m calculate the distance and displacement covered uthe athelete 1half round 2 one complete round use π =3.14

I do not understand exactly but let me try

displacement is the shortest distance from one point to the other

so

1)Distance:1/2(2πr)

= 1/2(2(3.14)(200))

= 628m

Displacement is the diameter=400m

2) Distance=2πr

=1256m

Displacement=0

0 because he ends up in the same place(starting point=finishing point)

Sol- distance= 1/2 (2pie*r)

= 1/2(2(3.14)(200))

= 628m

Displacement= 400m

2.complete round

Distance= 2pie(r)

=1256m

Displacement= 0
