distance=47.1, displacement= 15.7

Step-by-step explanation:

2×3.14×10=62.8

3/4=62.8×3/4

=47.1

62.8-47.1=15.7

We know,

  • Circumference of a circle =2πr

Given,

  • The athlete runs 3/4 of the park and the radius = 10m

Now,

=> Distance travelled be him = 2πr × 3/4

=> Distance travelled = 2 × 22/7 × 10 × 3/4

=> Distance travelled = 47.14m

Displacement = Final Distance - Intial Distance

= > 47.14 - 0

=> 47.14m

  • Hence the distance and the displacement = 47.14m
