An athlete runs along the boundary of a circular field of radius 21 m. Find his displacement after he completes 3/4 th of the round.

Distance in circular motion = 2πr = 2 × 3.14 × 21 = 131.88 m

3/4th of the round = 131.88 × 3/4 = 98.91 m

Displacement = 4/3 × 21 = 28 m

∴ Distance = 98.91 m

∴ Displacement = 28 m
