An athlete runs on a circular track of radius r metres with a uniform speed and complete one revolution in t seconds. Calculate the distace and displacement in t/2 sec class 9

For 1 revolution (t sec)=2πr

t/2 = 1/2 revolution

therefore

d = 2πr/2 = πr

displacement = diameter =2r

For one revolution tsec = 2pie r

And t/2 = 2 pie r /2

T/2 = pie r
