acceleration generated by the athlete, and (b) the time in which he completes the race.​

a) v^2-u^2 =2as

  10^2-0^2=2*100*a

  a = 100/200

     =0.5m/s^2

b) v = u + at

   10 = 0 + 0.5t

   Therefore t = 10/0.5 = 20s
