An athlete takes 7 rounds of a rectangular park , 69 m long and 30 m wide . Find the total distance covered by him​

Answer:

Perimeter = 2×(L+B)

= 2×(69m+30m)

= 2×99

= 198m

since and athletics takes 7 round = 1386 m.

LENGTH OF RECTANGULAR PARK = 69 m

BREADTH OF RECTANGULAR PARK = 30 m

THEN DISTANCE COVERED BY HIM IF HE TAKES 7 ROUNDS OF THE PARK = 7 x PERIMETER OF THE RECTANGULAR PARK.

SO DISTANCE COVERED BY HIM = 7 X (2(L+B))

= 7 X (2(69+30))

= 7 X (2 X 99)

= 7 X 198

= 1386m
