An atom has 10 electrons, 12 neutrons, and no net charge. What element is this atom, and what are its atomic number and mass?

Atomic no. = no. of protons in one atom

nd we know that no. of electrons = no. of protons. Hence, the answer is 10. Now, atomic mass then we know that mass no. = atomic mass hence, the answer is no. of protons + no. of neutrons.......10 + 12 = 22.

So, the element is Carbon.
