Hello friend,
If an atom has 2 electrons more than Noble gas configuration, then it will form cation , by releasing 2 electrons. That is, it will be positively charged.
Hope this answer helps you :-)

Hey friend

Here is your answer

As an atom is having two more electrons than the noble gas configuration, it will give it's two electrons to achieve the nearest noble gas arrangement and become stable. Since it is giving electrons, it will form positive ions called CATIONS.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ☺
