Given, No. of protons (p) = 6

No. of neutrons (n) = 6

Now, Atomic number = No. of protons

= 6

Again, Mass number = P + n

= 6+6

= 12

I hope this helps.

Answer:

given 6 protons and 6 neutrons

N = m-n

N = no of nueteons

m = atomic mass

n = atomic number

atomic number = 6

bcoz no of protons = atomic number

then

atomic mass = m = N+n

= 6+6 = 12
