Can atom exist without electron? If so then give example.

Explanation:

In an atom , most mass is possessed by neutron and proton.

Mass of electron is so less that we can neglect its mass in an atom.

So , we can say that electron doesn't have mass or very very little.

If the atom has no electron , it still has mass ( from neutron and proton)

An atom may exist without electron , which we also call ion , when it is completely ionized .

Hydrogen ion is an example of it.
