Mass of C atom is taken as 12 a.m.u. since the element is 10.1 times heavier it's mass will be 12*10.1= 121.2 a.m.u.

let the mass of one c atom be x
hence the mass of atom of the element =10.1x

we know,
RAM=mass of one atom of the element/
mass of 1/12 the mass of one c atom

=10.1x/x/12
=10.1x * 12/x
=10.1*12
=121.2 amu
