An atoms of an elements has 2 electron in the outermost M shell
(1)electronic confegration
(2)atomic number
(3)number of protons
(4)valency

sugoiboy: You need to know some more details. Like the group or period no.s in the periodic table to answer this
vishalsingh2940: ok sister
sugoiboy: um wait. I didnt see the M shell. Whoops!
sugoiboy: If it has 2 electrons in the M shell it means K and L are completely filled. So the atomic no. is 12
vishalsingh2940: yeash
vishalsingh2940: and m=2

Hey mate here's your answer:-
According to question given:-
(1):-Electronic configuration:-
K,L,M : (2,8,2)
(3):-Number of protons= 2+8+2=12
We know that in a neutral atom , number of protons are equal to number of electrons=12
(2):-Atomic number= number of protons=12
(4):- Outermost shell is having 2 electrons, therefore valence= 2
HOPE IT HELPS YOU
